Description:
Fort Bend Friends & Neighbors holds its monthly coffee meeting on the third Thursday
of each month. Membership is open to Fort Bend Residents.
Fort Bend Friends & Neighbors is a group that welcomes
new residents to Fort Bend. However the group is not restricted to new members of the
county. It currently has approximately 200 members, who are both new and old
residents of Fort Bend. In addition to its monthly meeting on the third Thursday of the
month, luncheons are held three times a year. Within the group are smaller groups that
enjoy bridge, wine tasting and dinner get-togethers. The group also raises funds for
charitable purposes. In November, it will do so by having a Casino party at the Swinging
Door restaurant which will feature black jack, poker and roulette.
