“Ride for strides” Jan. 1 for Texas Children’s Cancer Center

“Ride for Stides” – Kevin Kline is running to raise money for Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Shown here is Kevin with a patient at Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Bring in the New Year by joining us for an unprecedented event and support the wonderful children of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Republic Harley-Davidson will be welcoming Kevin Kline, morning radio personality on The New 93Q (KKBQ-FM Houston) and president of Snowdrop Foundation, on his final stop before he sets off to the Finish Line of this historic and unprecedented event.

Kevin is running 482 mile ultra-marathon from Dallas to Austin to San Antonio to Houston from December 20 to January 1 to raise money for pediatric cancer research at Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Republic Harley-Davidson with support from the 3rd Coast Strokers Motorcycle Club, the Republic HOG Chapter, and the entire motorcycle community have been strong supporters throughout 2009 and have set a goal of 1000 cycles to escort Kevin to the children on January 1. Republic has donated all registration fees from the Feel the Thunder Cycle Show Series in 2009 to Snowdrops as well as many donations from enthusiasts. In addition, the dealership will pay and donate each $10 registration fee from every rider who participates.

The police escorted 1000 motorcycle procession will be an unbelievable sight whether you are riding or just joining in to support Kevin, the Snowdrops Foundation, and the children of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Registration from 10am to 12pm, KSU @ 1pm New Years Day, and Kevin arrives at 11:30am!
