Sponsors, players and volunteers gathered on a wet day, November 4, at Sweetwater Country Club and raised over $80,000 for Fort Bend County Women’s Center at the 18th Annual Ramsay Gillman Charitable Golf Tournament.
The event included an award dinner, raffle and live auction. Master of Ceremonies KPRC Meteorologist Anthony Yanez gave a heartfelt remembrance to the late Ramsay Gillman, founder of the annual Gillman Charitable Golf Tournament and Jason Gillman, Vice President Gillman Companies gave sincere thanks to attendees during the tournament awards dinner. Clearly, Gillman Companies is dedicated and committed to the tournament’s beneficiary – the Fort Bend County Women’s Center.
Gillman was joined by Vita Goodell, Executive Director Fort Bend County Women’s Center, Patrick York, COO Gillman Companies and Lane Pearson, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene in welcoming 180 golfers. “We feel so fortunate that the Gillmans have chosen to support the Women’s Center through this tournament year after year,” commented Goodell.
The lifeblood of the FBCWC is its volunteers and the generous support shown by sponsors.
