Learn about Oriental gardening at library program

Fort Bend County Libraries’ George Memorial Library, 1001 Golfview in Richmond, will present “The Art of Oriental Gardening,” on Thursday, May 12, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library. Fort Bend County Master Gardener Cheryl Huber will discuss different types of Oriental gardens, such as Japanese gardens, tea gardens, stroll gardens, and courtyard gardens. She will also talk about “dry landscaping” and “hill and pond” landscaping. The program is free and open to the public.
