Olson welcomes German Congressional Exchange Student to Stafford

Rep. Pete Olson welcomed German Congressional exchange professional Julian Hecker to Texas. Julian was selected for a prestigious scholarship program under the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program (CBYX), a joint venture of the U.S. Congress and the German Bundestag. The program enables 75 American and German young professionals to exchange for a year of working and university abroad. Julian is currently working at Pika International, an environmental services firm headquartered in Stafford.

Julian previously worked for a German company that partnered with Pika on previous projects in the energy sector. Julian has attended classes at Houston Community College and is finishing his year-long exchange by working at Pika.
