Sugar Land Benihana celebrates remarkable Fort Bend ISD Students
Benihana restaurant in Sugar Land hosted a “Lunch with the Principal” event to honor remarkable Fort Bend ISD students who were cited for making significant improvements in academics and citizenship, or for overcoming a major obstacle in their lives. Campuses within a radius of the Sugar Land Benihana were invited to participate in the event.
FBISD students honored at the event were: Shaz Ali, Colony Meadows Elementary School (principal, Eugene Dupont); Kobe Hargest, Drabek Elementary School (principal Pamela Brown); Lauren Harris, Walker Station Elementary School (principal, Ginger Carrabine); Bethany Huerta, Settlers Way Elementary School (Kristi Durham); T. J. McPeters, Brazos Bend Elementary School (principal, Beverly Croucher); Andre Robert-Kin, Commonwealth Elementary School (Charmaine Hobin); Madison Subjects, Highlands Elementary School (principal, Dr. Latecha Bogle); and Julia Susong, Austin Parkway Elementary School (principal, Donna Whisonant). Palmer Elementary School, with principal Jaimie Geis, also took part in the event. The student honorees received a certificate of recognition from their principals and a chef’s hat from Benihana’s.
