Judges selecting winners in DeWalt Heritage Center photo contest

Judges are seen here meeting to make the final selection of the winners in the first annual DeWalt Heritage Center photo contest. First place and Grand Prize winners will be featured in the first ever DeWalt Heritage Center calendar which may be ordered at a discount at the reception. Copies of contest photographs will be available for sale and other items ideal for holiday gifts. The Grand Prize winning photo of the DeWalt Heritage Center’s 1st Annual Photo Contest was “Wind in the Water” by Jaci M. Elliott.

Despite the downpour of our much needed rain, a supportive gathering of visitors came to view photos taken throughout Fort Bend County and applaud the winners. First Place winning photos and the Grand Prize winner will appear in the first ever DeWalt Heritage Center Calendar.

2012 Photo Calendars with the winning Fort Bend County Photographs may now be pre-ordered for a discounted $15 ($20 after November 15). You may mail a check made out to FBCMA-DeWalt Heritage Center to P. O. Box 460, Richmond, TX 77406-0460 (Attention: Diane Ware).
