Heritage Baptist holds Christian celebration

During the Christmas season, one is sure to hear the word “joy” in songs or see it in decorations around town.

The birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the origin of true joy. Without these, mankind could not know joy. This tiny three-letter word has eternal implications. If one repents of their sin and trusts in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will know true joy.

Heritage Baptist Church in Missouri City welcomes you to join us this month as we celebrate the birth of the Savior.

Music minister Dennis Bell and the Heritage Choir have been working on special Christmas music that will be performed in the weeks leading up to our Sunday morning Christmas worship service, which falls on Dec. 25 this year.

The Heritage Baptist Church Family Christmas Celebration is scheduled for 5 p.m. Dec. 18. This event consists of Christmas songs, great food and Christian fellowship. Be sure to bring the children, as there will be a special treat for them.    Finally, Senior Pastor Dr. Charles A. Murphy will be preaching a sermon based on the arrival of Jesus Christ during our Christmas morning worship service.

There is no better way to acknowledge the Savior during the holiday season than being in church services, worshipping Him on the day we celebrate His birth.
