Chinese delegation visits Clements High School

Clements High School orchestra students performed for the delegation.

A delegation from the Continuing Education College for Teachers visited Clements High School on December 7, as part of an educational tour of area schools. The college is part of Xi’an University of Arts and Science in Shaanxi, China.

Members of the delegation asked a variety of questions about the District’s educational policies and procedures, student achievement, testing and school operations. Three principals were on hand to answer their questions: Ken Gregorski, Clements High School; David Yaffie, Baines Middle School; and Pamela Browning, Scanlan Oaks Elementary.

After the panel discussion, delegates were given a tour of the campus and visited the orchestra and choir classes.
