Pinky Promise made at Freedom Shrine

U.S. Congressman Pete Olson takes a moment to visit with students at FBISD’s Hunter’s Glen Elementary School. Last week on Jan. 11, Congressman Olson delivered a keynote address there for the installation of a Freedom Shrine, a collection of documents based on the tenets of the American ideals of freedom, justice and liberty. The items for the shrine are a donation to the school from the Exchange Club of Sugar Land. Joining the congressman, who is also a club member, were other members and its President Steve Griffith. The pinky promise was for student encouragement with an aim at excellence.
