Greater Houston Train Show set for February 18
The San Jacinto Model Railroad Club will present the Greater Houston Train Show on Saturday, February 18, at the Stafford Centre. This annual event attracts rail fans from across Texas and Louisiana. Unique to this show, many local master modelers open their home model railroad layouts to the public for viewing.
The Train Show is open 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and features 20,000 square feet of operating layouts, instructive classes, model and photo contests, train videos, and vendors from across the Southwest. Admission cost is $6 for individuals 18 and older, $1 for 12 to 18, and children under 12 are free. There is a $12 maximum charge per family. The Stafford Center is located at 10505 Cash Road at Murphy Road, Stafford. More info at www.sanjac.leoslair.com/resources/2012-Public-Flyer.pdf.
