Bruce Wayne Cossé

Bruce Wayne Cossé, 50, of Thompsons, Texas passed away January 29, 2012 at his home in Thompsons.  He worked at Kinder Morgan, Inc. in Missouri City for 32 years.  Bruce was born October 3, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lawrence Leon and Jane Elizabeth (Weldon) Cossé.

Bruce and Drema shared 21 wonderful years as husband and wife and 24 years as best friends.  He will always be remembered for his smile and blue eyes, but mostly for being a friend to everyone.

A loving husband and dad to Charles and Michael, Peepaw to Dylan and Kadyn and uncle to Alexis.  Bruce was always there as a friend to anyone and everyone he met.  He was a great bowler and loved fishing with his friends.  Bruce was an outdoors person who loved spending time with friends.  He loved his job at Kinder Morgan, but mostly the guys at Missouri City and his friends at Deer Park.

Bruce, a man with the gift of a generous soul who never met a stranger.  He was a devoted family man, faithful, loving husband, and caring son with a gentle, adventurous spirit and a zest for life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Jane Cossé.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 21 years, Drema Ann Cossé;  step sons, Michael Mathis and Charles Crane; grandchildren, Dylan and Kadyn Mathis; brother, Robert Brent Cossé; and niece, Alexis Nicole Cossé;  along with his family in Louisiana, Idaho, Arizona, California and Montana and many friends.
