Spirit of Freedom Republican Women’s Club to host Texas Eagle Forum President at February 17 meeting

The Spirit of Freedom Republican Women’s Club will host Cathie Adams as she addresses issues concerning Agenda 21, which is an action plan of the United Nations (UN) related to sustainable development.

The meeting will take place Friday February 17 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Chapel at 13213 SW Freeway, Sugar Land from 11 am to 1 pm.

Cathie Adams currently serves as the president of Texas Eagle Forum, as well as the “International Issues” chairman and on the board of the national Eagle Forum.

She previously served 16 years as president of the Texas Eagle Forum, until being elected chairman of the Republican Party of Texas in 2009.

She was named by Campaigns and Elections magazine’s August 2010 issue as one of the top 50 Republican influencers in Texas.

A light lunch will be served Rep District 26. An RSVP is requested for those who plan to eat. Meet and greet starts at 11:00 am and the meeting will begin promptly at 11:30 am.
