Stafford Spartans celebrate an undefeated season and more

Congratulations to the 7th grade boys at Stafford Middle School. Not only did the 7th grade boys A team football go undefeated, so did the 7th grade boys A & B basketball teams. This is a first in Stafford Middle School history that the basketball and football teams achieved an undefeated season.

The 7th grade basketball team finished their season with a victory against Wharton, winning their district. The Stafford High School basketball team plays Smithville for the Bi-District round of State Playoffs.

Friday, February 24, Stafford Elementary is celebrating “Go Texan Day.” Students may wear western style clothing such as: cowboy boots, hats, vests, shirts and jeans (please no guns) to show off their Texas heritage.

Don’t forget that on Thursday, March 8, all Stafford schools will be hosting an Open House with the theme “Imagine, Explore, Discover.” Elementary campuses welcome parents from 6:00 – 7:00pm and the Secondary Campuses from 7:00 – 8:00pm. In addition, all SMSD libraries will host a Book Fair. Please stop by and see what sparks your imagination.
