Bob Sandlin
Bob Sandlin, 81, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, at his home in Houston. Bob was born in Seminole, Oklahoma, June 15, 1930, later moving to Texas with his family.
He graduated from North Texas State University and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was owner of Sandlin Appraisal Service in Houston and had retired. He was active in the Shriners Arabia Temple, the Elks Lodge, and also an avid golfer.
He leaves behind his daughters, Laura Sandlin Draper, and Amy Sandlin Goad, son-in-laws John Draper and Richard Goad, grandchildren Delilah Draper, Cheyenne Bright, Haley Bright, Race Goad, and Lola Goad, his sister Julia Faye McMackin, nephew Jerry Ray McMackin, and niece Judy Kay McMackin Herbert. He will also be missed by many friends.
Bob’s service will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Earthman’s Funeral Home, 10 a.m., 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, followed by burial at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Arabia Temple, or the Elks Lodge in Bob Sandlin’s name.
