Application deadline for WCMC Legacy Scholarship is April 20

Join the community for this over night event at Oyster Creek Park.

The Woman’s Club of Missouri City is accepting applications for its WCMC Legacy Scholarship. Students can obtain the necessary forms from their counselor’s office and must submit the completed application and worksheet with an official copy of their high school transcript, a copy of their college acceptance letter and a letter of recommendation. Send to WCMC Legacy Scholarship, 2814 West Pebble Beach Drive, Missouri City, TX 77459-2521.

The $1,000 dollar scholarships are offered to graduating seniors who live in Missouri City, have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and are graduating from Elkins, Marshall, Dulles or Hightower high schools.

It is necessary for the applications to meet the deadline which is April 20, 2012. Following a review by the scholarship committee, eligible students will be contacted for an interview.
