Missouri City residents encouraged to share ideas on sustainable development

The Houston-Galveston Area Council has partnered with 25 organizations to create a 13-county regional plan for sustainable development that will analyze ways to improve and preserve important resources such as air, water, jobs, housing, transportation and green spaces.
Residents are invited to attend a public input meeting on April 24, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., Fort Bend Co. Annex in Missouri City, 307 Texas Parkway, Suite 204, to share ideas and opinions on ways to improve and keep Missouri City prosperous and healthy for years to come.
Those attending the public forum will have an opportunity to speak with planning experts and community leaders on key issues such as where the new residents will live and how the population growth with affect the quality of life and transportation.
The event is also being co-sponsored by the Third Ward Community Cloth Cooperative Housing and Environment Thread.
