Quail Valley Garden Tour set for Saturday, April 21

Shown is one of the beautiful gardens.

Quail Valley Garden Tour features five gardens, plus a drive-by of the Bird Sculptures by Jim Phillips who did the Galveston Tree Sculptures. As always the gardens are extremely varied and for 2012 Variety is the Spice of Life . . . with everything from a kid friendly garden made for a big crowd, a collectors garden with lots of Texana, an outdoor art garden made for entertaining, a color garden with nuanced transitions, and a lush tropical garden that is a total surprise in its variety and design.

Set in mature trees and gardens, you won’t want to miss any of them because there are ideas and solutions galore. What’s special about each of these gardens is they are lived in and reflect the wide interests of the owners. Saturday, April 21, 10 am to 3 pm, follow the signs for tickets from FM 1092 & El Dorado, Missouri City. A $10 donation is requested.
