Fort Bend ISD wins Elementary Ambassador Award

More than 20 students from Thurgood Marshall high school, Missouri City middle school, and E.A. Jones elementary school competed as a team in the 2012 International CSTEM Challenge, projects ranged from social media and sculpture to mural and robotics.
A team of students from Fort Bend ISD recently competed in the 2012 International CSTEM Challenge. Schools included Thurgood Marshall high school, Missouri City middle school, and E.A. Jones elementary school. Daniel Phillips of E. A. Jones was named this year’s elementary school “Ambassador.”
This special award was determined by the judges and bestowed upon an elementary, middle, and high school student/representative that best captured the spirit of leadership, best use of social media for communication, display of team work within the program, community impact, parental involvement, and high level peer participation in the CSTEM Challenge activities.
