FBISD bus accident FM 1092

As school let out Tuesday afternoon, a Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) bus carrying high school students was involved in a collision on FM 1092 near Quail Valley Middle School.

At press time details were just unfolding and it did not appear that any student suffered major or catastrophic injuries.

According to Nancy Porter of FBISD Community Relations, first responders were on the scene and nurses from the nearby school were helping in assessing injuries at the scene.

Ms. Porter said she understood that the bus driver had suffered some non life threatening injuries and that he may be transported to the hospital as a precaution.

Porter had few details as information from the scene was limited. There was no information available about the occupants of the other vehicle. And, no other details were available.
