CAD Property Appraisals concerns reader

Dear Editor,

I have just visited their Rosenberg office as part of my son’s protest against the $13,500 uptick on his Highlands starter home. The major cause of this is that home owners with swimming pools now have them valued at an estimated fair market value had instead of the previous $7,500 flat rate.

My son’s pool is valued at $62 sq.ft. Are your readers aware of this seismic change?

Yes her readers are aware of it. Fort Bend County has been hammering the citizens for over 5 years now. If you have been keeping up with the Sheriff’s race you would have known where a huge chunk of your money is being wasted. We get taxed through the nose and the Sheriff’s Department spends $750,000 in overtime alone last year. If you want to stop this unfair taxation get involved, VOTE! Let’s take our county back.
