It serves as a memorial to those who have departed and a reminder of the work that is still needed in the fight against autism.

Recent statistics by the CDC show that one in 88 children are affected by autism in the United States “Autism is now an epidemic and we cannot just stand by, we have to roll up our sleeves, unite the community and take action,” said Darla Farmer, Founder and President of Hope for Three.

Rosenberg Mayor, Vincent Morales served as the Master of Ceremonies for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Along with proclaiming April as Autism Awareness Month with the other 17 mayors of Fort Bend County, Mayor Morales officially declared April 25th as Autism Awareness Day in the City of Rosenberg.
