Liars, cheats, and thieves

The thought of Craigslist is really a cool idea.  Unload what ya’ don’t want for a few bucks and whomever ya’ sell it to get a bargain, now that’s a win/win for everyone.

Well, the crooks have found a wrinkle in the Universe and forcing that win/win to lean in the crooks favor.  Just last week Sugar Land Police responded to an aggravated robbery just down the street from the police department.

The victim, a repeat customer, got a BIG surprise…. When he went to pay for the laptop he planned to purchase, a gun toting thug jumped into the back seat of the car. The thug liberated the buyer’s cash, cellphones and of course the laptop he was there to buy.

The crooks got away, this time, but let this be a lesson learned… proximity to the police department has no influence in crooks.

Remember, if they weren’t dumb, we wouldn’t call them criminals – we’d call them politicians!
