Students honored at Austin Parkway Elementary
Talented young artists from Austin Parkway Elementary were honored on April 12 at the PTA Reflections Reception and International Dinner. The event welcomed contest artists, along with their families and teachers, for an evening filled with exotic foods representing India and the Middle East, entertainment and a showcase of art.
Taking part in the program were former Austin Parkway Elementary School students Mason Bynes and Tamera and Rachel Coleman. Bynes provided the musical entertainment and the Coleman sisters served as hostesses. All three are Clements High School students. The event also included a slide show presentation of student artwork that was shown throughout the evening.
