Sweet sounds from Sugar Land

Shown are the ladies of Sugar Land Cradle of Texas Chorus

The Sugar Land CRADLE OF TEXAS CHORUS, a Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, recently performed at the Annual Region 10 Competition here in Houston. These local ladies have a great time singing four part harmony a cappella, Barbershop style. In addition throughout the year you can enjoy listening to their sweet styling’s as they perform at many community events… like the CASA Christmas Home Tour and Sugar Land Town Square Happenings.

Singing in Sweet Adelines is a fun way for women of all ages to have their voices heard. Musical Director, Holly Ritter, a gal with a great sense of humor and rhythm, encourages all ladies who love learning new songs to come and visit. The CRADLE OF TEXAS is classified as a small chorus but they have big ambitions.

Now is a great time to become a new member. They are looking to grow and welcome anyone interested in making music memories and new friendships to join. The Sugar Land Chapter meets every Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm in the Choir Room at Christ United Methodist Church, 3300 Austin Parkway.
