Fort Bend Theatre to perform The Fantasticks

“Try to Remember a Time in September” as award-winning Fort Bend Theatre presents The Fantasticks, June 1 – June 16, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Loosely based on the combination of “Romeo and Juliet,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and “Pyramis and Thisbe,” this classically themed romance holds contemporary treasure.

As the longest running Broadway musical, The Fantasticks has appealed to audiences all over the world regardless of age and culture. In a time when “grass was green and grain was yellow” two starry eyed lovers fight the temptations of the big, perilous world to prove that true love conquers all.

In order to insure this timeless show is accessible to all, every performance will be sign interpreted for our deaf patrons.  Don’t miss this family favorite playing just in time for Father’s Day.  Tickets ranging from $12 – $15 can be purchased online at www.fortbendtheatre.com.
