FBISD Student Athletes earn medals at State Track Meet
Fort Bend ISD had several students win medals at the UIL Track & Field State Meet in Austin. Twenty-nine athletes representing 10 of our high schools competed in the annual event, and twelve made a trip to the podium for earning first, second or third place in their respective events.
“I am very proud of all of the athletes and how they competed and represented our District at the competition,” said Philip O’Neal, Athletic Director.
Following are the FBISD top athletes in the state:
Bush High School
Third Place: Chad Davis, Wayne Grice, O’Shea Wilson, Malcolm Smiley – Boys 4×200 Relay
Hightower High School
Third place: Jasmine Gordon, Jasmine Grace, Summor Fields, Sandra Moran – Girls 4×100 Relay
Third Place: Alexandria Wright-Foley, Jasmine Grace, Summor Fields, Sandra Moran – Girls 4×200 Relay
Kempner High School
First place: Terrell Clement – Boys 110-Meter Hurdles
Second place: Terrell Clement – 300-Meter Hurdles
Marshall High School
Thrid place: Mylana Hearn – Girls Triple Jump
Ridge Point High School
First place: Cameron Berrell – 100-Meter Run
Third plave: Cameron Berrell – 200-Meter Run
