“Impact A Hero” weekend begins June 2

Houston Astros has committed to be involved in the 8th Annual Impact A Hero Weekend, June 2-4. Astros players and owner, Jim Crane, will host the wounded veteran heroes at the Astros vs. Cincinnati Reds game on Saturday, June 2 at Minute Maid Park.
The events begin at 4:15 p.m. with Astros batting practice where Impact A Hero veterans will see the teams warm up for their upcoming game. At 4:15 p.m.-5:15 p.m., Astros Players and Jim Crane will meet and greet the Impact A Hero veterans. The veterans will have the opportunity to visit with Houston Astros and Cincinnati Reds players and obtain autographs.
The Pre-Game Ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. when the Houston Astros and Jim Crane will honor and recognize our wounded veteran heroes who have served and scarified so much for our great nation during the pre-game ceremony. At 6:05 p.m. the Astros will host our veterans and their families to watch the game in their suite.
