LCHS junior named to State Honor Crew

Aaran Kimnell

Lamar Consolidated High School junior Aaran Kimnell has been named to the 2012 State UIL One-Act Play Contest Honor Crew.

Kimnell will serve on the lighting and stage crews for the state competition, assisting schools from all over Texas with their award-winning productions. Fewer than 50 students are chosen from across the state for this honor.

He was selected based on excellence in academics, his dedication to the Lamar Playhouse, recommendation letters from his teachers and community service.

Aaran currently serves as Head Lighting and Sound Technician at the Lamar Playhouse and was also named Lamar Thespian of the Year.
