Classic Chevrolet of Sugar Land wins the 2012 Fort Bend Corporate Challenge at tournament
The 2012 Fort Bend Corporate Challenge bowling tournament. held by the Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, was an incredible success thanks to the generosity of wonderful sponsors and participants. On May 19, teams gathered to take part in what for many, has become an annual tradition. This year’s theme was the Kentucky Derby. Trumpeter Paul Torrisi played the National Anthem and the “Call to the Post”. Rosenberg Mayor, Vincent Morales rolled the Ceremonial First Bowl. The Swinging Door filled everyone’s plate with huge helpings of barbeque. The bowling tournament became quite a heated affair as David Young with the Union Pacific Railroad Company issued a challenge between Fulbright & Jaworski and Connelly Baker Wotring LLP. All other teams bantered back and forth across lanes and the pins began to fly. In the end and for a second year in a row, Classic Chevrolet of Sugar Land hoisted the Crystal Cup and was crowned the 2012 Fort Bend Corporate Challenge Champions.
