Shown is Brady Rodgers when playing with the Arizona State University Sun Devils.

Right handed pitcher Brady Rodgers was selected in the third round of the 2012 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Houston Astros.

Rodgers hails from Richmond and attended Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg. He was a four time All District Player and earned All State honors in his junior and senior years. After graduation, Rodgers went to college at Arizona State University (ASU).

While there, he held a 10-3 record, and 2.27 ERA, and finished college at ASU with 2.39 career ERA in 286 total innings. Those stats rank second in ASU’s school history.

Brady is a 3-time Pac 12 All Conference recipient, named to the Pac-12 All Conference First Team, Collegiate Baseball Louisville Slugger All-American Second Team, and the College Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher of the Year Watch List this season.
