Impact A Hero weekend a huge success

Event honored our Heroes… Impact A Hero Weekend set a new record of over $910,000 in donations, sponsorships, and participation. Ending the weekend, Impact Player Partners held their 8th Annual Impact A Hero Hall of Fame Gala at the Sugar Land Marriott Hotel.

This Hall of Fame Gala benefits our severely wounded heroes returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. This year honored more than 50 of our wounded heroes and family members.

Hall of Fame Inductees were Army Sergeant Johnathan S. Rose; Army Speciallst Kevin Kammerdiener; Army Specialist Brandon Abbot Meyer (KIA 1/28/08); Army Specialist Joel Tavera, Martin Resource Management Corporation.

Impact A Hero Weekend gives the community an opportunity in thanking our severely wounded servicemen and women for sacrificing their minds, bodies, and sometimes their lives.
