“4-H Day Camp – Fuel Up with 4-H!”
The Texas AgriLife Extension and the Fort Bend 4-H program will sponsor its Annual County Day Camp on Wednesday, July 11, held at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, 4310 Hwy. 36 South, Building B, Rosenberg. Registration begins at 8:30a.m., with the Camp concluding at 3:30 p.m., campers are to be picked up at that time.
This one-day camp targets youth ages 6-10 years for Fort Bend and surrounding counties. Also opened to parents, grandparents, and any other interested individuals.
The 4-H Day Camp is a great opportunity to discover the world of 4-H and have a lot of fun. This year Day Camp will focus on nutrition, health, & fitness and will feature a session of ZUMBATomic(R).
Each session at camp will be a hands-on experience with arts and crafts, cookie decorating, community service project, and leather working. In addition, they will have a session with the Fort Bend Master Gardeners and play some great games. Each participant will receive a goodie bag and have the opportunity to win door prizes.
Registration fee is $5 for Fort Bend County 4-H Members; $7 for non-members.
Hot dog lunch & snacks will be provided.
