Barrel Racing & Poles Clinic offered by Fort Bend AgriLifeExt. Service
The Horse Task Force of Texas AgriLIFE Extension Service of Fort Bend County is sponsoring a three-day “Barrel Racing & Poles Clinic” at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds “O.D. Tucker Rodeo Arena,” located at 4310 Highway 36 South in Rosenberg, Texas.
Clinic dates and times: Friday, July 6, 7 p.m.; Saturday, July 7, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
(1 hour for lunch p.m.); Sunday, July 8, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (1 hour for lunch).
The clinic instructor will be Connie Combs, Women’s Professional Rodeo Association’s World Champion Barrel Racer, seven-time National Finals Rodeo (NFR) qualifier and three-time average winner. She has been a clinic instructor and horse trainer for over 25 years, winning Houston, Cheyenne, and other major rodeos.
The clinic is limited to the first 15 paid participants who must pre-register by sending completed registration form, along with check or money order and a negative coggins to address on form. Participant fee is $250 per person and is non-refundable. The rodeo arena is covered and there will be no rain outs.
Stalls are available at $15 per night and fee does not include shavings. Please note – no dogs are allowed on Fort Bend County Fairgrounds property.
