Robbery suspect sought

Rosenberg police are seeking the public’s help in their search for an aggravated robbery suspect.

Monday night, June 18,Rosenberg police responded to a robbery call at the Rosenberg Food Mart on Avenue R at about 10:30 p.m. The store employees told investigators that a black man, wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and something covering his face, entered the store, brandished a pistol, and demanded money.

According to Rosenberg police spokesman Lieutenant Colin Davidson, once the armed man had the cash drawer proceeds in his possession, he fled the store on foot.
