Skeeters and US Family Health Plan to Host “Pops in the Park”
Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra to Perform Medley
The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra will perform our Independence Day Celebration of “Pops in the Park” presented by US Family Health Plan on Thursday, July 5 following the Sugar Land Skeeters 7:05 p.m. game against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The orchestra will be set up in the Performance Mazda Picnic Pavilion to perform a medley of songs honoring the anniversaries of Titantic, E.T., James Bond, Queen, and Star Wars and conclude with the 1812 Overture and fireworks. The show will be a multimedia extravaganza with on field performances with lights and video on the “Texas-sized” video board.
“Pops in the Park” are being presented by the Skeeters with the US Family Health Plan, which has connected local military families with their healthcare benefits for more than 30 years through an agreement between the Department of Defense and not-for-profit CHRISTUS Health of Houston.
Tickets are available as season, 8-game and 3-game packages in addition to group hospitality and single game tickets. Children wearing a team jersey receive a free ticket. Other ticket prices start at just $8.
