Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse receives grant
Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, Inc. (FBRC) was the recipient of a $35,000 grant from the Texas Methodist Hospital Healthcare and Nursing Education Foundation to support FBRC’s treatment services in Fort Bend County.
FBRC’s treatment programs include an intensive series of individual, family and group counseling sessions. More than 500 individuals take part in these programs every year.
“We are so grateful to Texas Methodist Hospital for their support and partnership in serving the needs of local families” said Lisa Poynor, the CEO of FBRC. “This grant will help countless young adults attain sobriety and take an active and productive role in our community.”
