Domestic issues result in shooting

Rosenberg Police are investigating a possible domestic disturbance that resulted in a shooting early Sunday morning, July 9, about 12:30 am.

Rosenberg police responded to a home in the 900 block of San Jacinto Street and shortly thereafter an injured party called Oak Bend Medical Center.

The only details available at press time were that a male victim was treated and released from Oak Bend Medical Center and police hope to release more information after charges have been filed in the case.

Rosenberg Police declined to identify the shooter or the victim Tuesday morning stating that the incident from Sunday morning remains under investigation and any information could taint the case.
