Frequent flyer headed back

Just last week, a Houston man, who has spent about as much time inside TDC as out, decided to represent himself before one of Fort Bend’s District Courts.
To quote Forrest, Forrest Gump “Stupid is as stupid does”… this 47 year old, TDC frequent flyer, was arrested for and convicted of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Imagine his surprise, back in January, when Houston police officers thought he was acting suspiciously at a West Fuqua convenience store. Imagine!
Seems he dropped a brown paper bag beside his car and then flagged down a police car feigning car trouble. Really? The brown paper bag, just outside the driver’s door was loaded with dope! Imagine…it was not his dope and he couldn’t imagine how it got there! Shock and awe!
He was tagged, bagged and taken to the hoosegow. And, to add insult to injury, he acted as his own lawyer during his trial. Imagine…he will spend the next 30 years as a resident of the State.
