‘State of Richmond’ set for August 10

The Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance will host a “State of the City” luncheon featuring a presentation by Richmond Mayor Hilmar Moore and City Manager Terri Vela on Friday, Aug. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fort Bend Country Club’s newly renovated ballroom, 2627 FM 762, Richmond.

Moore, a rancher who has served in his elected post since 1949, and Vela will present information about current and future City of Richmond projects and plans. It is the second in a three-part “State of the City” series, featuring Chamber stakeholder cities Rosenberg, Richmond and Fulshear. The City of Richmond is celebrating its 175th birthday this year.

Sponsorships, including Presenting Sponsor, Table Sponsor and Corporate Supporter are available. Individual reservations for the luncheon are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for prospective members and guests. After Aug. 6, a $10 late fee will be added.
