“Fort Bend Y Operation Backpack” explodes with generosity

Operation Backpack supplies continue to flood into the Fort Bend Family YMCA located at 4433 Cartwright Road in Missouri City. Partnerships with HEB Sienna Market, HEB Missouri City and other local businesses have generated plenty of school supplies for kids in our Caring Community Centers. Operation Backpack is an annual backpack and supplies drive hosted by the YMCA.
They will be accepting backpacks for all the supplies through August 12 and encourage people to take a moment, purchase a backpack and drop it off at the Y or at our partnering HEB locations. They will be stuffing the backpacks for the children on August 12. This is a great opportunity to be a part of something bigger in your community.
