“Rec Fest 2012″ set to end summer with bang

Sugar Land’s first “Rec Fest” is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Imperial Park Recreation Center, 234 Matlage Way.

For those ready to end summer with a big bang, the fun-filled “Rec Fest 2012” will do just that!  The recreation center grounds will be packed with free moonwalks, a rock wall, quad jumpers, kiddie swings, a huge slide and more. Come challenge your friends at various carnival games, test your game-day skills with interactive sports challenges or beat the heat with a foam pit booth.

And if you work up an appetite having so much fun, enjoy fresh cotton candy, popcorn and hot dogs free of charge during the event.   As a special bonus, the first 100 Imperial Park Recreation Center (IPRC) members will get a free t-shirt.

For more information, call IPRC at (281) 275-2885.
