Brett Pinfold breaks four FCST team records at USA Swimming Junior Nationals
Two members of the First Colony Swim Team, Brett Pinfold and Kaitlyn Swinney, recently competed in the 2012 USA Swimming Junior Nationals meet on Aug 13-17 in Indiandapolis, Indiana.
The four day meet featured some of the fastest 18 & Under swimmers in the nation, many of which recently competed at the USA Olympic Trials meet.
Brett Pinfold broke four FCST team records, two of which (15-18/Open 100 Back) stood for 28 years.
Brett’s record breaking swims came in the 15-18/Open 50 Free with a time of 24.38L and the 15-18/Open 100 Back with a time of 58.93L.
Brett’s 50 Free time was also a new AAAA USA Swimming Motivational time. Teammate Kaitlyn Swinney had a great meet, competing in four individual events (100Fy, 200IM, 400IM, 400Fr).
Kaitlyn swam to a personal best in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:06.37L.
