Fort Bend Seniors Groovy Party to be held in September

The legend of Dick Clark will fill the dancehall at the American Bandstand Groovy Party which will benefit Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels. The event, chaired by Teresa Reading and Nicole Volek, is set for Friday, September 14, at the Safari Texas Ballroom located at 11627 FM1464 in Richmond and will be held from 6:30 – 11:30 pm.

Get out your tie-dye and get ready to boogie to the sounds of the 60s and 70s! You may even see some of your old favorite singing duos and bands made famous on the American Bandstand stage. Many great packages in the Live and Silent Auctions will be up for grabs!!

Sponsorship opportunities are available at the following levels: Groovy-$10,000; Dynamite-$5,000; Far Out-$2,500; Peace-$1,500, which include reserved table(s), drink tickets, program ads, recognition in the program, event publicity and at the event. Additional details for sponsors can be found at www.fortbendseniors.org. Individual tickets can be purchased for $65. Name opportunities are also available for an additional $1,000.

The Groovy Party is one of Fort Bend Seniors’ signature fundraising events. All funds raised go toward supporting the mission and programs which enhance the quality of life for Fort Bend CountySenior Citizens.
