Kempner baseball player makes Team USA
Nick Anderson – Kempner High School 2015 grad, has been selected to USA National Team to compete in the Dominican Republic for the World Games.
Nick was selected after competing with the South Texas Sliders in Phoenix Arizona at the USA Baseball National Championships (one of 2 held at the same time, other in Ft Meyers FL).
Forty players were selected from a combined 100+ teams and numerous tryouts across the country.
Nick and his Teammate Alex Shaver (2015 George Ranch) were both selected to the USA Trials in Cary NC where they trained and played games for a week.
Nick heads to The Dominican Republic for the start of the tournament.
