Stafford MSD looking for school board member replacement

The Stafford Municipal District is accepting letters of interest up until this Friday at noon for those interested in being considered for the recently vacated school board position.  The board post expires next year in May.

Stafford residents interested in the school board position are being asked to submit a one page letter of interest to Superintendent Lance Hindt.  In the summary information to be provided, a list of six items about the person’s interest in the school district are to be addressed, including current involvement with the school system and other organizations.

Letters of interest for the vacated board position may be sent via email to supt@staffordmsd.org or faxed to 281-261-9249.

The school district has also announced that on Thursday, August 30, prior to the Joint Public Hearing to approve the Budget and Tax Rates, new school district administrators will be at the Stafford Civic Center from 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm for a community Meet & Greet.
