Touchdown Club of Houston selects four Fort Bend ISD athletes to 2012 Pre-Season Team

The Touchdown Club of Houston recently named its annual Pre-Season Greater Houston Team at its annual Touchdowner of the Year awards dinner. The team includes 31 student athletes, four of whom represent Fort Bend ISD high school football teams.

Selected were:

• Deon Hollins – Defensive End, Marshall High School (verbal commitment to University of California, Los Angeles)

• Maurice Porter – Offensive Tackle, Marshall High School (verbal commitment to Texas Tech University)

• Joshua Price – Linebacker, Hightower High School (undecided)

• Maurice Smith – Cornerback, Dulles High School (verbal commitment to The University of Alabama)

Their team coaches include Jim Creech, Head Football Coach at Dulles High School; Padriac McGinnis, Head Football Coach at Hightower High School; and James Williams, Head Football Coach at Marshall High School.
