Girl Scout Gold Award Project set for Sept. 22
“Mystery Tea Party” will be held September 22, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.,Roseenebrg Railroad Museum, 1921 Avenue F, Rosenberg, where the girls will take an imaginary train ride back in time to have tea with Juliette Gordon Lowe, but also they must find her missing pearls before they leave.
The girls will help find clues as they visit the 1879 fully restored private railcar the “Quebec”, learn how switching towers transferred messages 100 years ago, and have an ice cream sundae at “Another Time Soda Shop” all the while questioning “suspects” along the way. Girls will visit the Theater upstairs at Vogelsang’s Antique Emporium where they uncover the mystery.The day will end at Heritage Hall in Rosenberg with a tea party and fun crafts.
$12.00 per child Girls (1st – 4th grade), $12 per child. – Day includes entrance into the museum, a fun craft, tea and snacks, and ice cream! (Note: younger siblings and parents welcome to tour museum during event but will have to pay entrance fee at gate (adult-$5 child-$3).

This Girl Scout Gold Award project helps benefits the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, Historic Downtown Rosenberg District, and the Ft. Bend Women’s Center (the cost of admission allows girls at the shelter to attend the event at no charge).
