Hunting for homes – foster families & donations needed
As preparations begin for Hunting for Homes MEGA Pet Adoption, the Animal Service Agencies of Fort Bend County are reaching out to area merchants and citizens to lend a hand. Shelters are taking in a large number of animals that will make good family members. But they will need families to foster dogs and cats until the adoption day due to space limitations. To foster a pet please contact your nearest animal services agency:

Monetary donations can be made by sending a money order or check to Fort Bend County Animal Services, 1210 Blume Road, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Please make checks payable to Fort Bend County, and include “Hunting for Homes” in the memo line. Monetary donations will be used to pay for the microchipping and spaying or neutering of all pets.
This year’s event is scheduled for November 3,10:00 am -2:00 pm, at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, building B. Pets will be available for adoption from the animal service agencies of Fort Bend County, Sugar Land, Rosenberg, Stafford, and Missouri City. Adoption for all animals at the event is $40. This fee includes a wellness check, spaying or neutering, initial vaccinations, and microchipping. Senior citizens aged 60 and older can adopt a pet for a discounted $20.
