Introductory computer classes offered
Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at the First Colony Branch Library,
2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land, will present an introduction to using Microsoft Word and setting up an email account this month. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these computer tools.
The “How to Set Up a Free Email Account on the Internet” class will take place on Thursday, September 20, beginning at 10:00 am in the Conference Room.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us).
Participants may register by calling the library at 281-238-2800, or by visiting the library.
